Thanks! How is the intake noise level wise with the TRD CAI? I like some noise but not screaming at me.

Just curious, but did you bed them in?

I'm pretty pleased with the ones on mine. This is my first truck, but they feel really confident. I had to get on them a couple times without complaint.

I did, but perhaps I will have to resurface and reattempt if the general consensus is that they are good. What I've noticed is on sudden stops my tires are squealing and I'm not stopping in nearly the distance I would hope for. I have racing brakes on my other vehicles so I may just be a little biased but they definitely leave something to be desired in my opinion so I will most likely upgrade them regardless.

Much better than the Stock Hitachi shocks. Much stiffer ride...No more bounce.

I wouldn't resurface them. Rebedding will usually take care of that. But if you tires are howling, then it might not be the brakes? What tires did yours come with? Mine are the Toyo Open Country. When researching tires for the MiL's Pathfinder and the Wife's Forester, Toyos were generally mid pack. I am liking these for OE.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Toyo Open Countries. I think what mine came with are the Goodyear Wranglers w/ kevlar and I'm not a fan in general, two of them looked like they had very slight bubbles in them when I took delivery of the truck.

Interesting. I am happy enough so far. We'll see what the ratings are when it is time to swap them.

It might be worth reading what is in the tire warranty booklet?

On the wild side, you might want to look at the MFG date on the tires. I doubt that they are old stock, but you never know.

    you tell me first...

does your throttle or power delivery seem a tad strange to you? are you confused or compromised by the extremely non-linear throttle? do you feel the engine is muted through the factory tune? do you miss another 35+ ft/lbs of torque in the usable mid-range?

not leading questions; some have value for a good tune on a MT and some don't notice or care.

It would be without a doubt the OR grille that @UrbanT@co sent me. (Thank you again Tacoma brother)
