I've been to Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Badlands, Wind Cave, Theodore Roosevelt, Grand Canyon, White Sands, Petrified Forest, and Saguaro.

Yellowstone is the geothermal oddity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1B_J-yN9DWQ
Grand Teton was so striking because the mountain range seems to come out of nowhere: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRQTVjkIrAA

Currently trying to get a trip planned to hit the PNW and get to Glacier along the way.

We made another trip to Cape Lookout National Seashore this past weekend. The tent in the background is our screen room used for cooking and sun/bug/wind escape; we were actually less than 100' from the high tide line. Closest neighbors were over a mile away in any direction.

It is beautiful, but winters are brutal.

Went to Olympic national park two months ago! Beautiful national park!! Soo huge. Took us 4-5hrs to drive around the whole park!! the last pic you can see Victoria BC! The light pollution is real tho.. was hoping to see stars…. I didn’t get to really explore Olympic due to limited time and wanting fo explore Seattle!

The best parks are all in the West, but I live just a few minutes from Gulf Islands National Seashore, and have been enjoying the beach for a lifetime, so it gets my #1 vote. Wifey and I vacation in N Ga and western NC mountains, so Smoky Mtn NP comes in second.

The COVID has shut down my Olympic plans for the last two years. I have been itching to visit Olympic and other PNW parks.

I recommend camping at Salt Creek campground! You can see Victoria, BC from your campsite! But beware of your light pollution..,..

and if you're a big fan of "twilight " You can visit the town called "forks" . I didn't know about this town until I talked to some tourist waiting in line at some random giftshop... but it ended being some Twilight giftshop.... boooohooo

Did someone say 'Smokey Mountains'? I was there just a week ago. Camped at Big Creek Campground which is in the far eastern part of the park. So beautiful! It's a tent-only campground so it was pretty quiet and less crowded. No bear sightings, but did see some deer and wild turkey.
