I don't plan on leaving mine plugged in as this is my second ODB2 bluetooth device. The first one died... maybe from being plugged in all the time? Anyways, I just want data for some drives, don't need it all the time

    do tires count?
This works great when you don’t live in CA! I had car problems in AZ and loved doing this, helped me buy the part I needed to fix right there at autzone, but CA wouldn’t do it.

Replacing everything worn, broken, and rusted.
Does anyone has a setup that works on Android 9.0? I've tried 2 devices (Bluetooth/wifi) from Amazon and neither has worked. Both failed to connect and both went back. There's an issue with 9.0 specifically. In fact when you open Torque it notifies you there is a conflict with Pandora.

Very casual use here, but happy with the OBD Fusion and the Veepeak OBD2 bluetooth scanner. But I'm more of a casual driveway mechanic...when someone lets me use their driveway ha

I had an Android with the kiwi 3 torque pro app. The fusion app works on iOS.

I just drive mine 'til it forks up; then I hook up my hand-held scanner and fix it.

I use Bluedriver. It's not cheap. Maybe it's even overpriced. I thought I would put it out there, so other users can tell you why not to spend that much on it(I would like to know :))

To flash an ECU you need to buy a real MongoosePro cable, which costs about $500. I am using a dL copy of Techstream and a mini vci cable. But also to flash you’re gonna need to be able to get the cal file. If you don’t have it already you would need to find one online or do a month subscription to tis.
