I don't know how you guys are getting 16-20 mpg. I know I have a lot of city driving, but damn. My last fill up I got 13.9, and I baby the shit out of it. For a truck this size it should be a ton better.

2013 TRD Sport (not 4wd) with 33's and lifted and I'm getting about 15 mpg. :(
I drive about 15 miles on highway (80mph) each way to and from work every day, and 5-10 miles city driving.

That is what happens when you lift :(, but yet on the bright side your truck looks badass so it equals itself all out.

2013 DCSB 4x4 TRD Sport. I average 20 mpg city/20-21 hwy. In the winter, it drops to 18, probably because I let the truck sit for a few minutes before I start driving.

Lately the miles per tank has been going up, so this next tank, city driving, I'm expecting 21-22 mpg.

4 Door, short bed, 4wd, with 33s and 3 inch lift, i get about 14-16, but rarely hitting 16MPG, mostly in the low 15 range. I do mostly highway, about 60% and 40% city driving. Also, i try not to drive over 65 MPH, as it brings down my mileage more. Changing the gas from regular to premium sometimes has some effect, but most importantly what plays a big role for me is where I buy my gas from. Costco has top tier gas now, and its convenient specially since I work there. Haha not trying to talk them up, just my opinion, and what they advertise now.

Damn, brother, that sucks. Yeah I feel you on expecting the truck to do much better. They are pretty light compared to full size trucks nowadays, and they are getting better mileage than us!!!

Bone stock 2013 DCSB TRD OR - I just got back from a trip to San Antonio (about 600 miles round trip) Combination of Farm roads (60-65 mph), Interstate (75-80 mph), and city traffic. Tallied it up when I got back and averaged right at 19.6. Currently have just under 8,000 miles total on the truck

For your next tank slow your highway speed down to 70-72 and use the cruise control for the full tank of gas... I'm willing to bet you'll see much better MPGs!!!

I have also notice where I buy gas makes a difference, not huge but a little. Here in Maine if I fill up at a Mobil or Irving my MPGs seems slightly higher than if I filler at Cumberland Farms.

Ultra gauge says I get 14.1 Mpg which is what I calculated before I got the ultra gauge. I have a 2013 TRD Sport DCSB with 3" lift, XD Monters with Nitto Trail Grapplers 285/65/18 and a Mangaflow muffler. I had an stock 06 TRD OR before this and I could get up to 350 miles on a full tank. Now I could barely break 300 miles.

I'm seeing around 17 MPGs around town with a similar setup to you.

Now I have never used an Ultra gauge before, Does the ultra gauge take into account that your speedometer and odometer are running slower since you went to larger tires?

I found a website that compares tire sizes and it stated in going from 265/70/16s to 285/75/16s that speedometer is 7.2% slower... 300x7% is another 21 miles that you actually drove.

There is a calibration proceedure you'll need to do. You set "0" at a mile marker, drive a couple miles to another marker, then set how many miles it was. Not something you want to do on a busy interstate, but many US Routes have markers too if you watch for them.

Stock Tacoma. 18 mpg almost always. Mayeb 19-20 highway and during the winter its more like 16mpg. Pretty standard mpg numbers. I've never gotten 21-22 like some people.
