This is the best I have ever got. Was an 80 mile trip running 60-65 mph all highway. 265/75-16 c rated tires. Mid grade fuel. The only thing I do different is I run 1oz super-tech 2-cycle oil per 5 gallons gas. I have been doing the 2-cycle oil for a couple years.

Does your SG mpg match what you actually get at the pump ? Have you compared the 2 ?

Yes I have compared the two. Its usually 1-2 MPG higher than the actual MPG. Had a couple times it was within a couple tenths. I did not compare this trip.

Here is my fuelly. The best 25.1 MPG is not correct I had a couple gallons of gas that was getting old and put it in the tacoma and forgot I did when I got fuel a couple weeks later.

I was just curious , a lot post their SG OR UG numbers but I do wonder if those are real world numbers

I just got a ultra gauge and the first tank it reported 19.7 avg mpg but real world number was 18.85 at the pump which is alittle over 4% off if my math is correct . I do have to calibrate it

    65 mph = 2400rpm with a 6speed in 6th
Scangauge has a 2% odometer correction, and a 10% fuel correction. Matches 50 mile mile marker with 0 error, gas used is only .2 gallon difference with pump on a 20 gallon fill.

Go back to stock. Your gas milage will improve. I also put 93 in my tacoma for the first time and oddly I am seeing better MPGs

    I'm getting 15+ with my 2012 V6 towing my 3000lb boat with cruise set @ 67 mph

21+ on the highway...but around town it drops significantly

Stock 265x70r16, 4.0, 200 extra pounds of stuff, all city = 17mpg. I did a ton of highway driving a few months ago and it was consistently above 19. I was a little disappointed, but I don't drive it a lot so the added cost per year compared to my old truck is about $30/year.

edit: I calculate this at the pump. Scan gauges and the like are BS. Then again, the speedo isn't perfect either. I don't care what kind of mpg it gets unless it's off by a large percentage from usual.

Also, I baby it. I'm going to try driving it harder on the 45mph+ roads to get the TC to lock quicker, just to see what happens.

Totally disagree with your opinion on ScanGauge. Have had mine over 6 years. Followed instructions on how to calibrate it :
    1. Calibrated the SG odometer function to almost zero error - confirmed by both GPS and multiple 50 mile trips by mile marker.
    2. Calibrated the SG fuel used function to less than 1% difference compared to pump.

Bottom line - almost exactly the same mpg calculated by ScanGauge as calculated by hand. Difference of less than 1%.

What are you basing your bs opinion on ?
