    Its a Ruger gp100.. its brand new in its original box and never fired. It belonged to an old coworkers father. When he passed my buddy got a lot of pistols. He doesn't shoot so they've been sitting in his safe for over a decade. He gave me a list of 20 or so. This is the first one im buying.

    To transfer the gun from his name to mine has to be done by a shop with an ffl. They charge a 10 fee to do it

    Only difference between the Express Home Defense (pictured above) and tvbd's Tactical is the rear sight rail and breacher tip...considering I can drill and mount a rail myself for 1/4 of the cost and the fact that breacher tip is non-removable, not worth the extra $120 IMHO...whatever trips your trigger though.

    mine was really a spur of the moment thing, i went in looking for a specific 870 and they didn't have it and the one i have fits me perfectly. I may have overpaid but ohhh well it's already bought:D
