My next firearm will be a FN 5.7 and then after that, either a Glock 21, Custom built AR -15, 308 Win Mag, and a .357 of some sort but am not sure which one I am getting yet.

Putting a RIA Tactical 9mm 1911 into CA mandated 10-day jail sentence on tuesday. Recently picked up a SS Mini-14 (10rds through her by original owner) - pics of Mini to follow later this week.

Looking to start my first ar-15 build. Anyone know where to get a stripped lower? I'm finding that most places are sold out with no back order:mad:

anybody have any recommendations on a lever action rifle? I love them and just saw a 30-30 springfield but didn't get a chance to shoot it. I don't have a specific caliber in mind. Shoot me some ideas if you don't mind. (pun intended):D

I was thinking marlin too, but henry looks good. What are positive and negatives to both?!?!

    Thanks

Both are solid companies that have been making lever actions forever. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from either. I like the Marlins for integrating modern features on a lever action platform and having larger rifle sizes and Henrys for looking tradional and chambering in more tradional, pistol caliber sizes. But that's just personal opinion. What ever feels right to you is the right one. You can't go wrong with either company.

That is nice. What are you planning to do with it? Hunt or plink? I'd (again, my opinion) go with a 22lr if it was just a fun gun for plinking.
