    You seem to like the CR-V, and from what I can tell, isn't the Element simply a boxier CR-V? Same engine and platform. I think the SC model (blacked-out lights, appearance upgrades, no body-cladding) would be solid. +1 on scoring a manual transmission model.

    Ok you got me looking at Elements, now I low-key want one as a second car. The back seats fold up against the sides like a Land Cruiser and leave a MASSIVE flat floor! Seriously, go check one out.

    And the interior is perfect for outdoorsman, anyone with dogs, etc. super durable and easy to clean compared to the CRVs

    Holy carp!!! I had a complete reseal and timing belt done on a 1998 in 2011 for 550 bucks....at a DEALERSHIP!!

    LS1 swap with nitros.
    We LOVED our 2005 E. Comfy, reliable, spacious, easy to maintain, stadium seating... if Honda still made them, I may have bought one instead on my Taco.
