you forgot to mention the narcisistic (sp) dicks that have to have the last word on every thread, causing intro threads to rocket up to 11 pages, and start fights with body builders for the hell of it and form Alliances just to make fun of specific states. People like me are a big contributer of stupid posts :)

Let me know if it does Mark. I just installed the 5100's in the front (1.75 lift) and the rear TSB. The old tires look kind of stupid. I am eventually getting the 265/75/16's. I really didn't want to buy new until the
old ones wore out. But I'm having a problem looking at them...pizza cutterish! ;)

I know exactly what you mean. My old Dunflops were ugly AND useless. I have never broke traction so many time in my life (and I don't even gas it hard on my little 4 cylinder).

Right now my Tacoma is at the dealership getting a new clutch bearing. Apparently they didn't lube it correctly at the factory, and that is the noise I have been hearing at idle. My dealership takes excellent care of me, so they didn't hesitate to fix it under warranty. I just wish I had my truck right now instead of this gutless Corolla S. :( My truck is a drag racer in comparison.

Wow, what noise were you hearing? Only noise I am hearing w/mine is a slight clink when I push in the clutch pedal. But it's real slight...seems maybe normal.

Moreso than getting stuff ripped off, that is by far the best reason I've heard to get some new glass back there!

And I'll bite -- what's the story behind the ass heat? You realize they have creams for that, right? ;)

I think you're in the same boat i was in. they gave me a 4cyl camry while i had my truck in the shop. I have never been in a slower vehicle in my life! I dont know what 4cyl they are using in their cars but they are worthless. I'm assuming the Carolla isn't much better. I almost got in wrecks multiple times thinking i had more power than i actually did

Hey man, about when did you replace your tires so I know when I can start looking forward (and an excuse) to get some nicer ones on there and getting rid of those crappy dunlops?

The wife's 4 cyl CR-V kills me every time I drive it. That thing is slow. With the exception of the 6 cyclinder Rav4, every car we test drove felt slow compared to the Tacoma.

To be honest, who really cares if the Taco is slow? I mean, if you wanted something fast you probably would have gotten a car or something like that. I bought a truck so I could tow and haul stuff around. Besides what's the point in racing to the speed limit? Just a waste of gas IMO.

Its not about being fast or racing, just being fast enough to move safely in traffic. there were seriously times when i the car felt like it was bogged down or towing a large trailer. it felt like there was actual drag in the engine. As long as i have enough power to get out of the way if i need to i'm good, but that camry was litteraly, no lie or exageration, the slowest vehicle i have ever driven

My wife's car is a 05' WRX, and I have a modified 96' Mustang and a 99' Ducati Monster. All of which are faster and get better gas mileage than the Taco, but I drive the Taco the most. I do love my truck, well that and it's legal, the Mustang won't pass inspection any more b/c Austin just started emissions control and the Ducati...well I haven't quite gotten around to getting my license yet

I must of spent too much of my life in 4 bangers, cause I don't think the CR-V is too bad.

I had a 4 cyl camry rental when I tagged a dear with my Xb, I was actually suprised at the power surplus. That is of course once I figured out how to put it in drive. I actually drove it in a lower gear for a day or 2 cause that stupid shifter.
