when i used to use the taco for my roofing job, the company that put the company stickers on it was FastSigns out of Wheaton, IL. The tailgate used to say FAST SIGNS with WHEATON under it but i creatively removed some of the letters while i handed out candy on halloween, thus creating Ass Heat...instant classic, let me tell ya, everyone i know loves that sticker and i'm sure everybody behind me on the road cracks up laughing too lol

Yeah, except my speedo said I was doing 74 when I was really doing 70 (per GPS and Radar Sign). Now I am actually doing the speed I think I am. :D

I gave up on the Dunlops at 28,000 miles. Too much of a piece of junk! They still had tread on them, so I am going to sell them to the local used tire shop.

Where? How do they figure out how much they'll pay? Mine have only 6,300 miles on em. I hate looking at em!

I'm wondering if there was a problem with my car or they did somthing at the shop to keep it from being ragged and destroyed (which i definately would have done) When i say slow i mean SLOW. it felt like an electric motor from a golf cart. it also refused to downshift when i floored it. i could be doing 45 with it in overdrive and if i floored it it either wouldnt downshift or maybe just downshift one gear instead of 2 or 3 like it should have. i think the motor was tampered with on this particular car.

There are a few local places in San Antonio that buy slightly used tires. I expect to get $50-$75 for the set.

Just so you know - those little four bangers require a steady drop on the pedal to downshift. The Corolla I have now has the same issue. You can't just slam it or it says, "Wait. What? I know I am supposed to do something, but I can't quite put my foot on it.". :p

The Corolla is fun under 50 MPH, but on the highway. Geez, I was lucky to get it to 75 MPH once, but then I started back uphill. That was the end of that.

They must be tampering with the rentals. My wife had a brand new Corolla and it was quick too. Only got rid of it cause with a carseat in the back, my knees were against the dash in the front. Otherwise, I really liked it.

yea they may have put a restrictive something or another on it just to make sure people don't beat on them. last newer corolla i saw was one my buddy had as a rental, and his stupid ass drove around sliding it with the e-brake everywhere. he's lucky he didn't screw it up
