Purchased 10/11/07. Have 1350 miles on it so far. Runs good, smooth, and quiet.

I'm still in the "hose it, and wipe it down every morning routine".:D I've already waxed it twice with Rain-X wax and also Rain-X'ed the windows and mirror glass twice.

Yes, I'm pathetic. :D Know what I mean?

Got mine on December 31st of 06. It was a demo and had 5025 miles on it.
I have put 8k on it since (13k total), most of that driving to my girlfriends house in Arlington. (100 miles round trip) Now she lives here so my milage should drop like a rock.

No, you shouldn't Rain-X those. Plastic is a no-no. Now, I did use wax on them.

You should see under the hood! Oooh, nice looking and clean!

I'm even going to hang a plastic mesh between the grille and the radiator. Bugs are not allowed to stick in my radiator!

The first day I had the truck some ass of a fly decided to wedge himself between my headlight lens and the body. Took me 10 minutes to dig it out. Damn flies!

Funny story.....yesterday during my 800 mile trek, my buddy riding with me decides to eat in my truck. My hackles stood up, and he knew it. The funny part was that he opened up a bag of potato chips (salt & vinegar) when we were at the summit of the Grapevine (4,000 feet). First, the pressure of air at that altitude is less than sea level, so the bag looks inflated....before I can say anything he opens it and sprays my interior with potato chip odor. The odor smelled like a damn fart! I'm like "dammit, you just ruined my new car smell with that bag of farts!"

He darn near spit his drink up.

I paid 13,600 for that new smell and I will maintain it for as long as I can! How dare he ruin it with his 1.59 bag of chips!!!!

How old is Tacoma World? I've noticed the bulk of posters have Tacos less than a year old. Thats how it started with my VW in 1996, then I helped start 2 local VW clubs within 2 years.
