If they're used to bust people who are doing 6MPH over the limit they need rocks thrown at them. If they're used to catch the idiots doing 30MPH over then they're a good thing.

If you're speeding, you deserve to get a ticket... by a LEO or a camera... it doesn't matter... don't break the law and you won't have to pay...

I drive in the left lane of the Interstate and usually do about 10 over. If I get caught then I'll pay, simple as that. But, when you got people that go 15, 20 or 30 over and weave in and out of traffic, those need the tickets. Florida has DOT cameras but not speed cameras. If Florida did adopt them, I guess I would slow just a bit!

The cameras here in AZ are chicken shit. They are on a stretch of road, lets say 65 mph, then they drop the speed limit to 55, and thats where they place the cameras. Its just revenue generation. Nothing more. And as they are placed in areas in which they lower the speed limit, people jamb on their brakes, which causes accidents.

I have noticed the speed on the 101 has slowed down alot. People used to fly by me every day going 90mph+ Now im flying by everyone going 70mph.

We have red light cameras at some intersections here. I think they work in that regard, keeping people from running red lights. I'm indifferent about speed camaras.

Here in lafayette, LA. we have them at red lights, they are nice as they only get you if you are speeding through the light, another words they give you a grace, kinda. If you speed up over the limit on a yellow they will get you, or if you straight up run a red it will snap. I have noticed that if you drive the limit and the yellow turns to red they won't get you atleast not the 2 times it happened to me, I figured I would get a really nice pic of myself in the mail.

There are speed cameras all over Tel Aviv. The GPS systems over there even let you know when you're in range of one (they're marked on the maps too)

When I'm there, the rental car company tells me to not worry about them... so I haul ass... Generally speaking, Israelis drive like shit...

I heard there are some places in AZ maybe removing some cameras. MAYBE! 28-30% of people who get their picture taken do not pay the ticket. There have been issues with their servers as well, it does not send out the photo radar picture, but sends them a second notice informing them to show up to court.

As messed up as Kalifornia can be at least we still have law against speed traps on the books. Red light cameras only no speed cameras.

I never came across one that I know of. But I think that if I do get a ticket I should atleast get the satisfaction of that lazy ass cop getting out of his car to give me it. haha. I was in law enforcement and my brother is a deputy so I can say that.
