I already cut holes for when I was rubbing with my current tires before the lift.

I trimmed the stock flaps about 2inches first, didn't help the look, then took them off completely and truck looks way better to me.
I am on 265's with stock suspension. No issues with chips. Some mud and dirt here and there, but not a problem.

Mine cracked about a third of the way across right at 150k on a long road trip. I took them off for now, but was hoping to find some smaller ones. I'll definitely look at some of these alternatives. Thanks for sharing!

    OME and worth every penny.
I love the way they work in rain but hate the way they work in mud.

Mine fell apart when weighed down with 10# of gumbo and catching on tires.

Way too low. Sometimes they scrape
I replaced them with Husky mud flaps

I run flaps on passenger side only.

That way they cant recognize my truck from the other side. Like two face

I have a 2016 suspension with a 1/2 inch spacer (2 inches of total lift) and my 265 70 17 wildpeaks still rubbed the the oem flaps. I hacked them to pieces and finally bought the husky flaps and am happy.

Took off the stock mud flaps after a couple months of owning my truck. Got tired of hearing them get caught on snow berms coming in and out of my driveway and work. Without them, the back window of my topper gets pretty dirty but not a big deal. Ditch'em.

Mine are gone, replaced with ATS fender flairs with a small integrated skirt.
Flat black on white.... I think it looks good. Helps to prevent rock chips, makes a bigger water spray in rain though.( I never have to worry bout tailgating with em:D)

Mine got caught a week into owning my truck. It tore my whole bedside flare off and broke the attaching tabs.

If I had a time machine, I'd have taken them off the day I bought it.

Tacoma’s have coilovers up front not struts.

Only con i would say would be rocks being tossed into the bottom of the fenders / doors.

Could be wrong as I have 2nd gen and don’t read up on turd gen parts but if you lift two inches in the rear I would buy new shocks to compensate for the lift. You will have little travel left on the rear shocks and the shocks may bottom out before the leaf spring do.

Edit: Don’t quote me just what came to mind as I sit here on my lunch break

woah, I would hate them if this happeend to me...

that being said, am I the only one who likes them? Probably from my Subaru days but I love long flaps.

No but seriously I don't do a lot off offroading at the moment and they work great, I hear stones skip off them all the time on gravel roads. and I have zero snow buggers/fenderbergs/ on my truck in the winter.

I made the front ones the same distance from the ground as the back ones. Which meant I cut off a bit more than 2 inches l think from the front.
