Well i'm a paramedic and there's a joke about heart rhythms.

Sometimes people have to be shocked by us to convert the heart back into a normal rhythm. We have protocols and we're strictly trained on recognizing different rhythms but it's what we call "redneck medicine" where you keep shocking them until you recognize the rhythm, hence the name "shock-it-till-ya-reconize-it"
