Hmmm. Well thats not it then. Had fan OFF switched to vent and feet and still heard it. Put the ac on and waited for compressor to kick in and still heard it.

    That's good info to know/have.
Still could be from the compressor, you can remove the belts, one at a time and start the engine and see if it's still there.
100% positive it's coming from that compressor though? How about the tensioner pulley or idler pulley thing that the AC belt uses as well. Could that be the source of the noise? I
Next would be to loosen a couple of the bolts and pull the belt off. And see if noise stops then

Ok. So im not 100% its coming from their but when i put the stethescope on each piece that a pulley us attached. I was hearing it from the compressor.
So i should stary by taking the belt thats attwched to the ac compressor pulley? If the sound stops. Thats the source? If i still hear it, then take off each belt one by one to see if the sound stops?

Yeah, that's the idea. Keep in mind you may end up removing the belt drives the waterpump and so you'll want to just start it and listen for your noise(or lack thereof) and turn it off, since coolant won't be circulating without that belt on it. You can run the engine for a half minute without worries that way.

We want to identify which belt/component the noise is coming from, then we'll narrow down which component within that belt system is the culprit

You just have the 2 belts. Just take them both off. Then you can spin everything and compare. Said it before....turn the fan and listen carefully to the bearing behind it.
edit: Hell, take the fan off and spin bearing.

Exactly! even though i changed them less than 6 months ago, right now I feel i have a wheel bearing acting up.. I hear a rotational squeak that only occurs when the truck is driven for a minute and it is subtle enough where i can only hear it if i am close to a wall where it can reverb off.

Good chance it's something else. I have mine narrowed down to 'underneath'.

I'm not even sure if I'm calling it the right name because I'm not finding much online. If you listen closely you can hear the bad bearing.

so I actually just ordered a oem bearing 6301 and going to just do the bearing replacement and save me $30. Saw a couple videos and it looks pretty simple
