Wheel adapters

    Hey yall, I recently purchased a taco with what looks to be 2" wheel adapters. I asked the orginal owner if they were to clear the bigger tires and he said no, they were to give the truck a wider stance for stability reasons with the 6" procomp lift. I personally have had bad experieces with wheel adapters due to the uneeded stress on the hub/ components. Is the stability thing actually true and something that would be of concern when it comes to rollovers or would i be fine without them? thanks!

    I personally havent heard of using wheel spacers for more stability. I'm pretty sure he did it just for looks, considering hes running a 6 inch lift lol

    Thanks for the reply @austin21. Do you think it would look weird without them? I'd rather not have the wheels stick out so much
