I initially thought it was the sway bar end link, but it is definitely coming from the steering rack. The steering rack bushing bolt was nice and tight. Also, the noise was coming from the passenger side. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Check the LCA bolts; cams might be hopping the alignment tabs.

Thank you. I will check them out, Firestone did mention during last alignment the tabs on the cam bolts might have been damaged. Not sure if they damaged them or not.

Could be lower control arm bushing
    Others have talked about this
My05 did it until frame replacement, lCA and bushings were replaced in the deal

That what it seems like the bulk of my searches have pointed towards. Should I go back to Firestone and give them hell for not torquing the LCA bolts properly

wouldnt give them hell, tell them about prob and ask them to check
Not sure why it would start after alignment
There is a thread some where on here about it
if its the bushings seems to be a prob with some tacos

You're definitely right, just a knee jerk reaction to blame the last person who touched the vehicle. I will search around for it. If you find the link please share

    It’s the steering stops.
On the front and rear of the spindle, down low by the ball joint bracket is a V-shaped stop that catches a nub on the LCA. The pop you’re hearing is those two making contact while the suspension is moving.
It’s wayyyyyy louder on my BDS lift spindles.

Still under warranty. I have a fox setup but I hope the dealer won't even mind that and just diagnose it

I had that issue on my old t-100 and I put some grease on them and the pop disappeared immediately

Yeah I’m going to do this on the next rotation. It only happens to me once a week or so. I haven’t wanted to crawl back under the truck in the past few weeks after the coilover install.
May even polish the stops a bit.

Axle grease is quite effective. My 93 was terrible. The plastic caps for the steering stops would wear out so quickly that I even kept new caps in the glove box as spares.

My 2016 pops in full lock either direction aswell. Although its probably my tie rods since I'm running 20×10s wrapped in some nice muddies. The original wheels were 16inch
