Wheel Back Spacing???

    Ok I really dont get it when people talk about backspacing... will someone please explain this to me. I'm completely ignorant about this so please explane everything. Thank you.

    So to fit a bigger tire its better to get a wheel with a smaller backspacing so that the tire doesn't rub, right? Or did I compleetly miss the bus on this....HAHA

    Engage Offroad long travel front and rear with some fat tires.
    not too much smaller... you want to run about 1" smaller than stock to keep the tire away from the upper control arms and the frame on turns...

    but if you get too small of a backspace, the tires will hit the fenders on turns...

    I see...I think. HAHA! I really like these TRD wheels. What size tires would you recomend after I get the OME 3" lift put in. I dont mide minimal triming but the less the better. I really appreciate the help thanks.

    i think those are 4.5" backspace or 4.25"

    you will want to double check... if they are the 1st gen backspace, you should be able to go up to 33s with them...
