Yikes. When checking specs I did not see the bore size being different.
This one does have the correct bore; 106.1

Yes they do. Actually like the Level 8 MK6 over the American Racing AR923. Discount Tire website shows none in stock at both Vancouver locations. Maybe they have a set across the river. If not, I will probably order a set. Thanks 303tacoma!

Ordered the Level 8 MK6 from Discount Tires yesterday. Zero offset and 4.5 backspacing. I will be on an 8" rim instead of 7.5.
The guy at Discount brought up a nice chart showing how much my tire will move out. Next to my UCA it will move away 25mm, or almost an inch. The outside edge will move 36mm, or 1.4 inches. I'm good with an inch more clearance on my UCA. I'm hoping the 1.4 does not stick out too far though.

    No just removed mud flaps!!
I have SPC UCAs fully adjustable.
I think I'm going to go with a 255/80/17 to fill up my wheel well next go around only -.5 difference in width but 32.8 tire height so more than an inch difference in height.

Just ordered a 3" OME lift for my 2008 DCLB and wanting to get new wheels and tires as well. I'm a noob but have been reading a ton of posts on here, but am still a bit confused. I want the tires to stick out past the fender some, but not too much. Looking at Fuel Hostage wheels but could use some help with the wheel dimensions,bs,and offset. If I stick with a 17" wheel (stock diameter for my truck) Looks like my options are 17x9 or 17x8.5. But the back spacing and offset varies. Either 5" backspace with 1 offset or 4.5 bs with -12 offset. What's the difference? Are they essentially the same just the difference in wheel width dictating the difference in bs and offset? In other words, would the look of these be pretty similar in terms of stance? Also, do I assume I need to stick with a bolt pattern that is 6x something right?

Thanks for your thoughts and input!

Use this chart for wheel width B/S and offset

Less B/S will make your tire stick out more 4.5 is good

Use this to compare old wheels to new

Basically they put a load/pressure on the tire and balance it. It basically gives you a better , more precise balance.

Thank you for your compliment. Much appreciated!

As far as Road Force Balancing, the tire shop must have the proper equipment/balancer to perform a road force balance. Specifically, they must have a Hunter Road Force balancing machine. I'm not sure if other companies make this type of machine, I never had the urge to look. LOL!
    Here's some info on it.

    http://www.hunter.com/wheel-balancers/road-force-elite

IMO, road force balancing is more useful on vehicles that go really fast. I don't think it would be quite as useful to the off road enthusiast as it would be to someone who does a lot of fast highway driving or someone who takes their car to the track. I look at it as it were fine tuning machine. Kinda like tuning a high performance car. You can tune it for normal driving or you can tune it for the track which has to be precise. That's only my opinion on it though.
I used road force balancing on my SRT Challengers in the past but I probably wouldn't consider using it on my Tacoma unless I drove a lot on the highway and/or had problems with normal high speed balancing.

    ;)
