Make sure you can return them if they don't fit. It's very hit or miss and I don't know of anyone running those on here....sometimes there is a reason for that.

Ok, here's another lost fool beggin' for help...

Here's the wheels I'm looking to get:
    http://www.rimzoneonline.com/category/0052/XD-Addict-798-Matte-Black/

My taco is an 06 TRD Sport, completely stock. I'm currently running Dynapro ATM 265/65/17. I've checked w/ the tire manufacturer and these tires will fit 9" wheels. My questions is this: Since the website above does not list he bs info (just offset), what should I go with if I want the tires to stick out a bit from the well? I'm thinking the -12. I want a more rugged look than just stock, but I don't have plans to lift or anything in the near future. Hoping to avoid having to do anything other than just buying some new rims and get them installed w/ the current tire I'm running.
    Thanks! :D

A 9" wide rim with -12 offset has 4.5" backspacing. A few have reported having to do very minor trimming with this setup on stock suspension, because the 9" wide wheel with 4.5" BS sticks out 3" more than a stock wheel.

^Cool, thanks. I was thinking more around the lines of 2" or so out from stock. I can't really afford new tires and rims now. Plus, I really like the tire I'm running and do very little off roading. Just hate the sissy stock look.

If you want 2" out from stock, get a 17x8 with 4.5" bs or a 17x9 with 5.5" bs.

So, if the wheel I want does not specify bs, what do I look for? The specs on the website offer -12 offset or 18 offset.

    Really appreciate the help!

This link has a chart in it that lets you convert width and offset to backspacing

Another new guy here but I have already put my wheels on. I had read about fit issues and did my homework so I thought I picked up a set of AR Ventura 16x8 0 offset and 4.5 BS I believe. They had used bfg ko 265/75/16's on them no rub issues but no off-road tried. I put new rubber on (the same tires). I have a stock base 08 4x4 the caliper clearance seems pretty slim not at hub but by the spokes I was going to make some .06 shim to space them out we have a water jet at work but have already widened stance considerably looks awesome but am I hurting my front end doing this she is still my daily drive.
I will have to put up some pics nothing fancy.
    Thanks

Thinking about buying new wheels .Would a wheel with these specs cause premature wear of the frontend. Diameter 16" , with 8.5" , offset -6 , 4.5 bs

Any infinite amount of possibilities. We need to either know the offset of the rims, or the backspacing, and we can use one to calculate the other.

The mt sidebiters ifound has a -53 offset and 3.5 backspacing is that good for a 1st gen with 33s

Since the wheels sticks out more then two inches then the stock wheels. Would that wear out the the CV axle, wheel bearings etc. sooner

Scored some 16" Mickey Thompson Classic lock black rims from the dealer during negotiation ha from my reading this my tires should protrude more than stock OR rims, I hope. . .? I hate the stock tucked look, looks so much more aggressive with a wider stance (as far as i can tell these have a BS of 4 and offset -12.)

    tires 285/75/16

These two would stick out the same???

    (a) Stock trd wheels 16x7 32mm offset 5.25 bs w/ 1.25 spidertrax wheel spacer

    (b) 16x8 aftermarket wheel 0mm offset 4.5 bs

obviously choice (a) will stick out 1.25" further than stock plus the new width of the tire from 265 to 285

    (b) am I correct... .75" out from difference in the two backspacing (5.25 - 4.5) + .5" from the width of wheel = 1.25 as well. I got .5" because the new width is 8"wide and has 0mm set which means .5 on either side of the wheel...I dont think a 8" wide tire would stick out 1" more my thought is 1/2" on fender side????

    any thought comments welcome Thanks
