    can any one help me out ... is this doable at home in my garage or do i let the mech.. over charge me for labor?:rolleyes:

    3" lift front & rear, Air Raid Intake System
    It has to be pressed in to the spindle, so unless you have a press, a shop is gonna have to do it.

    You could take the spindle off, and go buy a bearing. Then find a shop to do the pressing. Any machine shop could do it for you, and they'd probably be cheaper than a mechanic.

    i had a bearing replaced on my '88 toyota truck...even the mechanics had a hard time getting the old one out...banging on it and such...i think they had to break it to get it out almost...lol...it really wasn't that expensive to let them do it
