Well my front left wheel bearing has gone bad so I/m going to change them both. I found a bearing + hub assembly on rockauto. I also found a shop to press them on the spindle. What other seals etc. to I need? Do I need the same front and back seals and the o rings as the 4wds do?

Thanks for the help, I don't want to start this and find out I missed a part and have to wait, or order more then I need.

why do you need to press the hub into the spindle? its held on by 4 bolts, easy to remove and easy to reinstall.

I changed my prerunner front driver side bearing. I hade to get a special tool to remove that odd looking lock nut on the outer spindle. I Got the tool from NAPA and I recomend get another oil seal(I had to special order mine).

OK, well I finally changed out my bearings. What a pain in the ass. Getting the hub assembly removed from the truck is easy and straight forward. The rest is a pain. You need a special tool to remove the spindle nut. No chain store around me carried it, even Napa. I had a tech loan me the tool but still no luck. You need another special puller to pull the race out. So I dropped my new hub/bearing assembly off at the dealership for them to work their magic. $188 dollars lighter, I had them back on the truck. :(

I recently got a spindle hub bearing assembly for my prerunner but the assembly only seemed to house one tapered roller bearing. Is this normal or should i send the part back? any help would be appreciated
