Hey guys, just hit 87k and need to get the front wheel bearing replaced on the driver side. This seems typical for the mileage. I did a search and didn't find any thread to recommend a mechanic.

Any local shops that anyone can recommend that they had theirs done at? What was the average cost of the job?

I'm in the Orange/Anaheim area. Any direction is much appreciated.

You can buy a complete bearing kit from a couple vendors here in the Classifieds section. Any shop can just bolt that up for you for no more than 2 hours of labor. You can also try to do it yourself if you have the tools.

Sweet. Yeah, I was just looking it up and see that most places sell the complete bearing and hub replacement together these days. Nice, I was expecting it to be less clear cut than that!
