Wheel Bearing Replacement ??

    The only way the 2nd gen's can do that is if they get an entire hub assembly, wheel studs and all. Otherwise the unit bearing needs to be pressed out of the hub housing and pressed back in and reinstalled.

    I paid 83 from rock auto for bearing and both seals and got them pretty quick

    I found only one place that had a whole assembly when I did my 2nd gen on ebay and the price was rediculous. Much easier to just press the bearing out and a new one in. Don't forget to put the bolts in before you repress them.

    Brought it to a shop, and they pressed the old and new for 70. But they forgot to put the outer seal/cover between the spendel and the bearing, F*-- me!!!
