Good afternoon all. Attached are photos of the inner oil seal on the spindle and the cv axle. It looks like the rubber portion got eaten up pretty bad. Any ideas? Was it touching too much on the CV?

Bearing feels and sounds good. I get about half a turn when I spin itimage.jpg image.jpg
Wanting to get this wrapped up.

Who installed the wheel bearing and hub? Hard to tell but it looks like the bearing is a little shallow and wasn’t pressed in all the way.

    Update all,

replaced the inner oil seal on the spindle, and lubricated the caliper and all seems good!

    thanks!
