IS there a DIY guide on doing this replacement yourself? If it is in this thread already, forgive me, I don't have time to read through the whole thing.

I've gotten quite a few PM's asking if any special tools are needed to install the hub assembly.

Nothing besides basic hand tools & a 35mm socket are needed. If you can install front brake pads, your more than half way there. Remove the 35mm axle nut & the four 17mm hub bolts; work the hub out of the spindle; clean the hub cavity in the spindle. Take my assembly out of the packaging & reverse removal instructions. It's that easy.

Ok I couldn't remember which set up the 3rds had.

Crap, I had a shop do mine a few months ago and it's shot already... I might have to take the spindle to the dealership this time.

That bearing should have a warranty, typically 12 month/12k miles.

Besides all the unusual squeeling noises that a bad bearing makes, can you tell if one is bad otherwise ?

lift the front end, grab the tire @ 12 & 6, pull the top of the wheel out & push the bottom of the wheel in. it should be "tight", zero play.

Assembly came in the mail on Tuesday and just finished putting it on today. Taking the old one off was a PITA but new one went on smooth. Took it for a drive and no more growl! Thanks for the awesome product and excellent customer service! Will definitely buy again if the other one decides to take a shit (assuming this one lasts ;))

If your not sure you can even take a video & post it in here for advice. Also while the front end is up in the air, spin the tire & listen for a growling noise
