I have a 2012 four door short bed 4X2 Tacoma with 88000 miles on it. The dealer just changed all 4 wheel bearings because they were noisy, and they were. I don't tow anything nor go underwater above the axle C/L so why would they be this unreliable? The noise was cured, but at an over $2000.00 cost. My gen.1 went over 300,000 miles without wheel bearing issues, doesn't make sense. Oh and the truck is totally stock.

Good question.....I had one go bad at 75K miles but it was expected with constant mudding, bigger tires & wheel spacers. But for you it doesn't make any sense.

    Dealer pricing.... just wow.
That mileage sounds about right for our wheel bearings from what i've read on here.
