Hi, new member here, but I have lurked since 2005 when I lost my water pump in a dramatic fashion, and fixed it myself.

I'm a Pro Pilot for the Airlines, and since flying is my hobby, I compete in Aerobatics as well. 1 Daughter graduating from college.

This is a great place to help maintain these great trucks.

I tagged a fire hydrant with my rear wheel well flair, and I'm looking for a new one, or a set. I like the OEM narrow look, this part was on several earlier year trucks as well, the later version is larger and requires a "cut out" for the fuel door. I prefer to keep the stock early look if this part is available.

Where is the best place for new or used parts? I have not been able to find the rear flair, only the front.

    2000, Pre Runner TRD V6
    Thanks, Steve

Reno!!!! Best airshow ever! The only thing close is OSH, both have some of the best performers, but only Reno has Warbirds running double the HP / Manifold pressure ever used in WW2. If I was blind, I would still go just to hear a Merlin powered P-51 at 110" MP fly by!!!
Thanks for the tip, I'll go to want ads next.
Still is there a favorite place here for used/ new parts?

    Welcome!

BTW, OP, it is spelled "flare" not "flair", so you might get better results if you Google "flare". I found several sites either OEM or aftermarket.

Let me know if you come up for the show. I know some great spots you can park and watch it and they will fly right over you.

D'oh, thanks for the spelling correction, no wonder I found nothing.

If Reno Air Races are back, I will try and make it up to watch and bug you:)

lost a Pilot friend and his wife in the crash, his Navion is still waiting for him at RNO:-/
I'll check and see if there is a date for the Race, last I looked it was suspended.

Man, you would think a pilot would know the correct spelling of "flair""." maybe thats why salaries are down. Just kidding steve..!! It's hard to find the flare your looking for. I've done a lot of research on these and it seems that there is 2 different types. Since I spoke with you last, I understand the differences. The 95-2000 use the screws in the wheel well. They have no clips and the thin rubber gasket is attached to the flare. (IMO a lot better design.) The 01-04 use the screws and clips that are factory drilled into the fender and the gaskets are a separate piece. The set I'm selling must be for 01-04. Sorry about the confusion, but the guy I bought them from took them off a 99.

    Thanks for the legwork Nick.

To be clear, the '99 that your Flares came from was MODIFIED, and someone attached the '01 and later "larger" flare to a '99?!

Then "Jose" at the junkyard is correct? 95-2000 flare are the same?

Clear as mud, starting to make sense.

    Thanks, Steve
