OEM leveling kit

Ok so i need a wider rim according to my tire guy,, says at least 7.5 to 9 inch width for 285 tires KO2. He wanted to sell me some black XD wheels… but i kinda like the TRD style,, he said those where heavy and not any stronger. Any truth to difference in build quality or design. I am not to flashy, so bling is not what i am after. thanks folks in advance.
