So the wheels on my truck have a zero offset - the J16 XJ7 JJ15 version. The 4wd off road dbl cab blah blah.

I think there are three versions of the 'snowflake' wheel (maybe one is the stock steelies).
    I believe the 2wd version has a 10mm offset.

I'm looking at another set of wheels that may be from a 2wd truck. If I get these and put them on my truck, the wheels would just stick out just a tiny bit further, right?

Just make sure the wheels you are looking at are the right lug pattern. I know some of the 2wd trucks have a 5 bolt lug pattern instead of 6 on the 4wd trucks.

As far as offset, depends on if it’s positive or negative offset. If I remember correctly, positive will make it sit closer to the control arm. Negative will make it stick out.

They are the same snowflake wheels so bolt pattern is same.

Just googled it - negative pushes out. now just need to know if the other wheels are pos or neg.

Anyone have an answer for that?

the "snowflake" wheel only has one version from Toyota. they were used on the Tundra, Sequoia, Tacoma (4wd and PreRunner). so if you are buying them then they will be the same, unless you've found someone who copied them, which I have not seen

My apologies for not knowing what “snowflake” wheel you were talking about. When googled, it popped up a 5 spoke 2nd gen wheel. Hence my last post. Frizzman is correct. Only one version of that wheel that I am aware of and it’s a 15mm positive offset.
