    Good morning TW

I’m buying wheels this upcoming weekend. 17x8. I want to stick out 1 inch from fender, what offset should I go with ??? I’ll be running Nitto grapplers.

    Ridiculous

What size tire are you running?

The Toyota TRD Beadlock like wheels are a 7.5" with a 10mm offset and they stick out about 1" with a 265/70. Depending on tire you will likely want to be similar with around 0 offset.

Lol. Well, I’ve seen some advertised as of late, but I would not put them on my truck.

The 17” Ray 10’s I had with 265/70/17 KO2’s were a little outside the fender flares. Those wheels are -10mm offset.

He wants them to stick out, so he’ll want more negative offset

Depends, I have positive offset on my stock wheels and they stick out about 1". My 8" wheels only have -12 but running a 12.5 tire they stick out almost 3 inches.

17x8.5 and 285/75/17 is exactly what I’ll be running. I’m considering -10 offset. You guys think that’ll give about 1” or slightly under?? I don’t want to go over 1 inch.

That’s a big tire. You’re definitely gonna be sticking out. Probably over an inch.
