    I want to buy some rims I'm looking at 16's I eventually want to get a lift and run a decently aggressive tire what do I need to look for in a rim before buying?

    I would stay away from rims that post in ALL CAPS. They look pretty stupid, imo.

    :laugh: ..Also for future reference OP we have wheels and tires subforum for this kind of stuff.



    OP: When looking for a rim you need to look for proper bolt patten, which is 6 on 5.5 (139.7) for Tacomas. You will also need backspacing of 4.5" to fit 285's, and 5.5" to fit 265's.
