I know there are other threads on this, but I am looking for some rims for my 22 TRD OR. This is primarily so I don't have to swap back and form from snow tires every year on the stock rims so not looking for anything too exotic. But I also want something that enhances the look over the stock rims which are OK bu not great in my eyes. I already have 16" tires which fit stock so the 17" TRD rims won't work AFIK, but otherwise I like their design and style. I saw the Voxx rims on TireRack which seem to mimic the TRD rims, but I suspect they aren't the greatest quality. Any recommendations on some rims that look good and are worth buying? Ideally <$850 or so? Truck color is Lunar Green so thinking either black or possibly bronze rims.

    Thanks!

This is all personal preference my dude. Get what YOU want. A 17" wheel will fit. Just get tires accordingly.

I only use All Season, A/T tires that come with the 3 peak snow designation. This way I don't have to switch over anymore. I just do a tire rotation with every oil change. My preference are my previous Goodyear Duratracs, followed by my current Wildpeaks.

Thanks for the replies. Living in the Pacific NW we can get pretty sloppy conditions at times and usually at least one ice storm per year so I really like having dedicated snow tires. We had a very scary experience a few years ago where we went from 48 degrees and rain to a sheet of ice over the span of 1 mile on Highway 84. Almost lost it with my pregnant wife riding next to me with a fatality happing in the same area a few minutes later, so I always put set of good snow/ice tires on all of our rigs now. Long-term it doesn't really cost anymore since each set of tires last twice as long.

Thanks for the link Yankee but not really my cup of tea. I really like the TRD wheels but I already have a good set of 16" rubber so want to stick with that size.

I understand it is a personal choice, but I also know there are certain rims that are just low quality and could give me headaches later and/or cause potential issues with performance/mileage and maybe even safety according to some people. I suppose maybe a better question to ask is what are some decent rims that come in at less than $200 each? From an aesthetic perspective I like the DX4 Beast, maybe Vision Flows, perhaps G-FX TR19s. I know those aren't top-tier rims but are the generally decent? I thought the Voxx looked cool as well, but I guess they only come in 17".

    Thanks!

Just did these in my son’s SR5. SX special edition wheels, purchased online from Lewis Toyota in Kansas, $800 total for wheels, center caps and black lugs. You can get the wheels in matte black or gray. Put on with WildPeaks AT4W 265/70/16.
