I decided to take the wheels off and Plasti-dip the rims black. The rear wheels came off fine after jacking it up, but when I jacked up the front and removed the lugs, the wheels wouldn't budge. Has anyone else had this problem?

Put lugs on loosely and make sure the truck is securely supported and hit or kick the inside of tire. It will come loose. It's just probably corroded to the hub

It happens to me sometimes. Wheel gets a little sticky, I guess. Just have to kick the tire and break it loose.

sometimes they require more force than a kick.

Ive had to loosen them a turn or two and drop the jack slowly so the weight of the truck breaks them free.

if you put anti seize on the spots that seize before putting the wheel back on it will be easier to remove next time.

    Started automatic. Swapped to manual
Kick it with your heel on one side. Not to hard the first time. Kick harder second time. I guess the plasti-dip will help that also.

Something else you do is take a wheel and tire that did come off, and roll it against the one that is stuck on I've seen it done at a tire shop and it works. I also agree putting never seize on the threads and the sleeve on the end of the lug nut.

Yes it happens, my dad had that problem real bad and I was tired of getting the call saying "hey come fix this piece of shit" so I gut axle grease on the part of the rim that used to get stuck, no more problems now.
