    Hey everyone!!

    I just ordered my Bilstein 5100s and now I'm looking at some tires. First, I've searched high and low and can't find the width of my TRD Sport wheels. I'm guessing 8" but please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Once I put the shocks on the truck will be pretty level and looking to jump from a 265 tire to a 275 tire.

    Has anyone used the Maxxis Bravo Series AT-771 tires? If so, what's your take on them. Also looking at the all terrain AT KOs.

    Thanks!

    The width is 7.5" I believe. The Maxxis only come in 275/65r17 (not 275/70r17) from what I can tell.

    @AZ4WTACO K02's 275/70r17 no lift
    "There was slight rubbing with the front tire so I had a small section of plastic cut out in the fender well."

    @PHarris11 275/70/17 Hercules AT2 1-2 inch front spacer
    "I am currently running stock TRD Sport wheels with 275/70/17 with little to no rubbing"

    It seems like with a minor lift you will have little to no rubbing, minor trimming if any, you may have to remove the mud flaps worst case.

    How can anyone recommend tires for you if we don't know what kind of driving you're doing?

    As you can guess, I'm new at this. Road and light dirt roads. Nothing crazy or extreme. Basically driving to a trail head to go mountain biking.

    275 70 is almost a 33inch tire. so many say it doesn't fit and others say it does. Can we get a definitive answer. This little rub that is mentioned is that at full lock or what?

    I did a search and quoted 3 tacomaworld members who have 2016 taco's and run 275/70's. You'll have to pm one or all of those members to find out those details. The usernames are in the post.

    I bought a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2 265/70R17 - completely stock suspension no rubbing and little if any change in MPG - added some amount of noise at highway speeds but can still go 90mph without any issue and go off road as well and can't wait till it snows.

    They make several different load settings so you have flexibility. I bought the "C" rated ones, which is proper for the 2016 Taco. The next rating up the tires are a lot heavier so less on road performance at highway speeds (more un-sprung weight).

    I've always like those tires. I'll be doing a 5100 lift to level it out so those tires would fit nice. Thanks!!
