i have a 2015 DCSB tss edition 4x4. i would like to get a procomp 3in lift and 285 70 17 federal couragias. i have been told that the tires might rub and i may have to trim inside the fender. would 1 inch wheel spacers fix the problem of rubbing? i have 2 inch spacers on my ATV but have never used them on a truck. r they safe?

They are safe if they are good quality product not the crap from china. I have a set that I'm putting on this weekend. I want to say that you will not have a problem with rubbing but throw a set on and find out.

Cut & broke off stuff. Prolific ziptie and tape usage.
I don't know if those wheels are sized any different than usual TRD wheels. With 285/70-17 on TRD Sport 17" wheels and Bora 1" spacers, I had to trim just a little of plastic at bottom corner of fender flare.

Your alignment will affect whether you have to trim in front of wheel, behind, or both.
