Why can’t you use a torque stick with an impact wrench? Not saying it’s the be all end all, but we use them all the time for trail side tyre swaps, fantastic stuff.

Absolutely no issues at all with them. I did need the extended lugs for the spacer, but used stock lug nuts for the wheels to bolt to the spacers. Without the extended lugs, they don't poke through enough to grab, maybe a thread or 2? With the extended, there's tons of thread to grab. I also used Blue Locktite when I mounted the spacers, to be on the save side. (I believe blue, may have been red, either way, used Locktite for safety purposes.)

Just hit the lugs with a torch for a minute and it turns into lube.

This is exactly what I’ve done and I’ve never had an issue. The only problems I’ve had is when it’s used somewhere that has a close proximity to plastic. You need to get it pretty damn hot, and plastic seals, dust covers will melt.

For spacers, I wouldn’t have a concern. You’d basically be hitting the head of the nut with the torch and should expand faster than the lug which gives some extra help. Get the lug nut to just start glowing and it’ll spin right off.

Would also like to know. Not so much about cutting, but if the spare tire would an issue in the event of a flat tire.

No issues on my 2018 w/Bora 1" spacers... Also mine had plenty of thread engagement w/o a need for extended nuts.

I've got 1.25" hub centric aluminum spacers. Will be 4 years this summer. Love the stance, no issues with vibration. Using a different Toyota wheel but you get the idea.
