Ok, sure, you can hand start them, then use an impact with a torque stick, then finish with a torque wrench. But why bother? If you are already hand starting them and finishing with a torque wrench it takes all of 10 seconds to get them snug enough by hand to finish off with a half turn of the torque wrench. No need for the impact.

Because it takes 1/4 as much time, 1/8 as much effort, and if the hubs/wheels aren't perfectly corrosion free, it often seats the wheel to the hub MUCH better.

Is there a specific brand of wheel spacer you guys would recommend over the others offered? Is the main objective to just go with a high grade billet aluminum?

    1. They can create a weak point.
    2. They can placed added stress on the wheel bearings.
    3. They can sometimes cause vibrations at highway speeds.

I appreciate it. Anyway to mitigate this (other than install correctly)?

    #1 and #2 for sure.

#1 and #2, no....that's just the nature of the beast. #3...possibly if the spacers mount hub-centric and allow the wheel to mount to them hubcentrically as well and your wheels are perfectly balanced. But it can still be hit and miss.
