Hey guys, recently picked up some Toyo MT (315/70/17) in a C load. I am going to mount them on my SCS Ray10 with -10 offset but I wanted more poke so I want to get some spidertrax 1.25in spacers. I know I know "just wait to get new wheels with offset you want" but the problem is that SCS does not make my wheels anymore (Bronze with machined lip) and I really don't want to part ways with them. I know wheel spacers can be harsh on wheel bearings etc. but I just don't want my wheel flying off when wheeling or driving (No crazy wheeling). The Toyo MT weigh 76 lbs and my wheels weigh 24 lbs. What are your guy's opinions considering they are put on to correct spec?

    Thank You

Not sure how much my 285/75/17’s weigh, but would assume they are similar to yours. I have 1.25” spacers. I installed them around 100k miles ago and haven’t had any issues to speak of.

The general rule of thumb is to avoid spacers when you can, but if it’s a must then stick to hub-centric, install them properly and you will be fine.

You'll be fine. Just make sure you have BMC done and clear your firewall. I'm on 35 and been running 1.25 spacer with no problem for almost 2 year now.
Also on 17x8.5 0 offset. Soon I'll be going the same route as you on SCSF5 17X8.5 -10. Just make sure you have enough clearance.
