I would like to do wheel spacers and am interested in seeing before and afters or afters at least haha. I understand to buy high end spacers to get the best quality.

I also want to put on 265/75r16 after as well. So does anyone know if they rub WITH spacers on? I plan to buy KO2 A/T tires.

I have 16 DC OR edition.

    Thanks ahead guys

That would depend on what size spacers I think

    I was thinking a 1.25" or so.

265/75/16 fit with no modifications on stock wheels. I would think 1.25" should be fine.

I'm about install new wheels with that tire size on stock suspension. Offset is 25mm less than stock so almost the 1.25" you are talking about. That being said, if they rub I'm just going to :sawzall:

I had stock wheels with 265/75/16, 1.5 inch wheel spacers. No rubbing. Really like the poke on the wheels with the 1.5 inch vs 1.25

Now that I have methods with a 0 offset, whish I had 1.25” spacers, the 1.5 stick out slightly too far.

I attached some pics that I have on my phone, sorry not exactly the best and don’t have them on my truck anymore.

Im currently dealing with a rubbing issue with mine as well. I have 265/75/16's Goodyears and i get rubbing on the upper control arms when there is some flex and a slight turn.

Because the rub is only noticed off road, i can likely get away with 1.25" spacers. I may install a 2" lift to allow for more whell travel. I will be getting this done in the next couple of weeks and can post pics before and after.

Staying with 265/75r16 is a wise choice if you wish not to have any rubbing.

I went 285/70/17 with 4Runner TRD Pro wheels with 4.5 Offset, 1.25" spidertrax spacers, SPC UCAs and full OME lift and have had to do major cutting, CMCing, melting, and pinch weld massaging.

Thanks! A little under 3" in the front and 2" in the rear. Bilstein 5100's set a 1 notch from bottom with OME 888 coils. Also a Headstrong 3 AAL pack in the rear.

Hey I'm running the 4runner sema wheels also.. with 265/70/17 tires. Do you think 1.25" spidertrax will rub? Stock suspension as of right now but want to go with Kings in the next month or so.... Any info helps. Thanks!

I can't say for sure but they probably won't. I would lock the wheels both ways and measure 1.25" further. Crazy idea: Maybe use a toothpick and stick it in one of the treads. If it falls or bends you will rub. That should give you a close idea.

With the spacers you are going from a +4mm offset to -27.75mm.

I used stock sport rims (+35mm offset) with 285/70R17 Falken Wildpeaks, 2 inch spacers (total offset of -15) and it rubbed the very tip of the cab mount. I did a quick trim with an angle grinder and sprayed it down with paint - no rubbing and no issues. I will come back to it and do a more aggressive cut before I go on a serious wheeling trip though. For now it's good to mall crawl
