Wheel spacers

    6" Fabtech coilover lift. 35/12.50/17 Mickey Thompson MTZ, 17x9 ProComp 1089 wheels painted black, UWS black lowprofile toolbox, husky liners, tacoma bed mat, bed lights, Premier stereo, Cobra 19 cb, firestik 3' antenna.
    Im thinkin about going with 285 75s on my stock wheels to go with a toytec 3" lift. I know I'll need either new UCAs or wheel spacers. UCAs are just ridiculously priced so im goin to go with spacers if i end up going with that tire size. i was just wanderin if they are visible on the truck.i know the ones i seen online are bright blue/green. seems they would just make them black.

    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    they should be dirctly behind the rim hub, so shouldnt be visable unless u gets under the truck and look where the spacer and wheel connect. shoot dark knight a PM b/c he has some of the spacers on his. just make sure to get the spidertrax ones...havent heard anything bad about them

    blue led headlights, 285/75/16 grabber AT2's, custom pedals, custom shifter, flowmaster 40 series muffler, bedlinered fender flares, 2.5" lift kit via shackles and spacers, custom exhaust out the back, chrome exhaust tip, and Herculined bed, Weathertech floormats, Cabelas Trail Gear Camo Seat Covers ... Nice thing was I got the truck for $4000
    i don't know how old this is, but im jus wondering if people put wheel spacers on all 4 corners, or just the front or back

    Thread is from the end of Feb 2009....And I think most folks put them on all four. You don't need them in the back in most cases- but the front tires will stick out past the fenders a bit more than the rear unless you do all four corners.
