I'm thinking about running wheel spacers on my truck, because my 285's rub on the UCA's sometimes. I was wondering if having wheel spacers will make the tires closer to the cab mounts (mine are chopped) or push them away from them. Could someone with wheel spacers please advise?

If you think about the tire as a rectangle, the 2 outer "corners" of the box are what's moving farther out and will be further from the hub as it swings through its arc. Yes, the inner edge will move also but that's not what we're worried about in this case. So yes they will move closer to the cab mount but the contact point will also be further out. Don't mind the MS Paint drawings, this is the best my work PC can do lol. I recommend a tape or ruler across the tire tread as a way to visualize where the new edge will be after you push it out X inches from the current. Hope this helps!

Thanks, this is helpful! It looks like the answer is then yes, it would make the tires rub more on the cab mount, right?

That looks like a azenis rt615 tire. One of my favorites.

It could, yes, unless the new location is far enough out that it hits the fender instead of the cab mount, but only you and your ruler will be able to figure that out
