how many people use lock tight or just tight to OEM spec?

    running 1.5 in the rear.

bora says no lock tight and just tight to spec drive 5 miles and re-torque recheck every 3,000 miles

mine are hub centric to oem hub and hub centric to my method rim

don't mean to ask this question again just really dont like spacers......

i used blue... if torqued right they should have the same likelihood of falling off like your wheels

Had BORA spacers for 3 years. No Loctite, however, even if you use it I highly recommend checking the torque periodically. At least during first 500 miles. Once they "settle" so to speak then check at rotations - should never move.

I see the directions (in general) say to use Loctite and to check the torque periodically.
This does not make sense to me. If you use Loctite and then check the torque later, you break the Locktite bond. I would say either use Loctite and leave it alone, or check the torque periodically, but not both.

I may be wrong though....just my opinion.

If the threadlocker is doing its job, the torque wrench will click (or beep or bend) before the bond is broken. That's because on installation the threadlocker is not yet set, but after setting it adds strength. This is assuming the torque wrench being used is the same one used during install, and is at the same setting.

What are the wheel torque specs for 3rd gen wheels or even the spacers?
