hey everyone. I’m new to this so forgive me if I’m dumb as hell lol. Anyways I have a 2018 Tacoma pro looking at leaving the stock rims but upgrading the tires to 265/75r/16. I want to add some wheel spacers to give it a more aggressive look, would 1” be okay? Any advice or recommendations? Thanks everyone! If this thread is out there already please point me there!

Anything over stock width is going to increase wear n tear on wheel bearings, same as different offset rims. You basically increase the moment arm, which will increase the forces on the bearing.

I just replaced my 245's with 265-75/16's and was thinking of adding spacers also but thought about the additional crap that will get thrown up on the side of the truck and really not sure if I want to do that just yet...but I am enjoying the bigger tires which raised the truck about 1-1.5" and filled the wheel wells nicely.

This! I can't count how many people just ignore physics around leverage. Now, will it be an immediate issue, NO and you may never experience anything. BUT, I had an 80's suburban with 1.5" Spacers and went through wheel bearings like mad with my 35's. Took the spacers out and no more issues.
