1.5" leveling kit, 2" rear blocks & 1.25" wheel spacers
Hey guys, I'm looking for opinions and people with real experience on this. I've searched the forums and just not finding what I'm looking for.

    I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4WD 4-door. It has a 1-1/2" leveling kit and a 2" rear block.

I'm looking to get wheel spacers for my truck. I think I'm going to go with 1.25" spacers unless anyone else thinks differently. I however, cannot decide between aluminum or steel. I won't be doing any towing, but I do drive a lot. The most I will haul is a few hundred pound fourwheeler.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

    Thanks

Spider trax are the most popular on the forum I think by far. Next would be Bora I think. They are aluminum, I ran the Spidertrax on my 2007 with the Sport wheels for 4 years with no issues. They are 1.25”, I rolled my truck at a high speed and no issues with the spacers after taking a fairly significant stress I am sure during the rollover.

    Aluminium quality spacers.

Wire brush the mating surface so it's clean
    Apply antiseize with brush
Apply spacer along with red loctite
Torque them with a torque wrench
    Put wheel back on
    Drive a few hundred miles
Remove wheels and torque again with torque wrench

I put Bora aluminum 1" on all 4 tires about 5 months ago and have not had any issue. Really nice spacers. You will have to pay a little extra but they are really good and lifetime warranty.

Exactly what he said! I just used blue loctite, but removing the wheels after a few hundred kms and a retorque is key. I live an on island surrounded by salt water and they religiously salt the roads here as well, and mine never showed any signs of oxidization or corrosion.

As long as you go with Spidertrax or Bora you should be fine. Just don't grab some cheap eBay special wheels spacers.
