A buddy trading in his Tacoma gave me some 1-1/4" hub centric wheel spacers he never installed. No brand name on them, but not Spider Trax or Bora. I tried them on & do not like the way they attach, the lugnuts only thread about 8 turns, the studs only thread into the nut maybe 3/4, the stud does not stick thru the nut, I can count 4-5 threads of the nut still showing. I'm not running like that, you guys that are running Spider Trax or Bora's, are they a better fit on the lugnuts? Thanks

This is what these no names look like attached to the axle. Y'all are saying on the Spider Trax & Bora's the lugnuts fully thread onto the studs? IMG_20200131_121308.jpg

Yes, we are saying exactly that. If you want excitement and danger in your future, keep those junk spacers on there.

The tires never even touched the ground after I saw how these fit. My sense of excitement & danger is "What is the latest craft beer you have on tap?", I've been hurt by that a few times LOL. Thanks all for the quick replies, I'll get the others. The main reason for asking was if they were all this way, I wasn't going to get any at all.

Yeah, if I knew the brand I'd let others know what to avoid

This is part the reason people swear up and down spacers are bad- that is a failure waiting to happen! That and most likely over torquing the lugs over and over which will shear the studs

best to avoid all no name Amazon/eBay spacers
