    Just my $.02 worth...
I have 285/75/16 on OEM rims with Spidertrax 1.25" spacers. I also have a 2.5" lift from Toytec and installed by Toytec.

First, I was "told" by Toytec that any spacer wider than 1.25" may shorten wheel bearing life.

Second, my front tires rubbed some little plastic protrusion near the outside rear of front fender liner at the very bottom. Trimmed it off in 3 seconds and packed the hole with black silicone.

That said, nothing rubs now (even off road) and I have no vibrations. Installed the spacers myself using torque wrench and following the instructions. Easy.

Hey guys, I'm new, but you'll see i'm quite frugal (aka cheap)... but do spend when needed... There's tons of 1.5" spacers w/ great reviews on Amazon that fit. Has no one gone down the "frugal" path for this?

I've got a stock TRD Pro. From what I've been reading, I should be clear for 1.5" wheel spacers... Why spend $600+ when $150 is out there w/ good ratings?

I wouldnt go cheap on spacers I've been going down the same rabbit hole and majority points to don't go cheap on spacers. I too spend the big bucks when I have to.

I have had 1.5 spacers for over 1 year now from Amazon i paid 130 shipped to my house, they seem well built and solid, no problems with them and many of my buddys have had them on their trucks for years also and no problems, never heard of anyone having pronlema with those around here they are pretty popular and i like the look it gives with the stock rims and aftermarket rims too20210822_125249.jpg 20211107_102023.jpg

I was warned not to "cheap out" on the spacers since Toyota uses the hub-centric design to keep everything balanced and centered. Not saying the cheap ones don't work (I have no experience) but is a few bucks worth the trouble if they cause problems. An old expression, "pay the high price and cry once or, you can save money and cry more later." Again, just a thought...:notsure:

I’ve run both name brand and eBay specials. Regardless of build quality and brand reputation you run a risk when you put twice as many lug bolts and nuts behind each wheel. As long as you properly torque the fasteners your odds of failure are low. I currently have a cheaper set of 1.5’s on my rig that have been perfectly fine for a year or so.

Check out these 2" spacers... anyone try this on stock TRD Pro? Or would I have to also put on the 3/2" lift kit... trying to avoid that until I consider needing new tires

2inches is quite allot, i would be worried about rock chips on your paint defimately on the rear fender area, i have a few from the 1.5 wheel spacers. Also could be a chance you will rub as mine rubbed with 2.5 lift in the front, was rubbing on the front mud guard

I installed my spider Trax 1.25" spacers yesterday . Put 50mi on truck then checked torque again on spacers . Everything was good . Love the looks of the new stance . Now I have plenty of room to upgrade to 295/75/16 ko2's .

I just found 1.5" spidertrax on walmart.com sold by 4 wheel parts for $56/pair. Shows 4 sets left if anyone is looking. Can't beat that price!
