I have been looking into getting some wheel spacers for my tacoma, to give it a little more of a beefier look. All i havefound so far are 6 lug kits. the 5 lug kits seem to be rare, and the ones i saw were universal, which is a no-go. if anybody knows where these things are at, i would be very interested.

    thanks

Why not go with higher offset rims?

well, the rims i have are aftermarket 18 inch wheels, and buying new ones would be a little more expensive than buying some 1 inch spacers. all i am trying to do is fill out the fenders a little better. i am also going to be replacing the tires soon, and i would like to increase the size to fill in the fenders more as well.

yes, there are plenty of six lug. 5 lug i found is only universal, and lug centric, and based on the research i have done, that can cause problems with balancing. i found some with this guy that makes custom ones, but hes asking 280 a set, and im a bit cautious on buying those, in case they dont work.

I found plenty when I typed in 5x114.3 wheel spacers? I had some ebay ones on my 03 precummer and they worked fine I still see the truck ridin around and he still has them on there.

Nah sorry about a month after I got them I traded the truck for my X Runner. I want to say I got either 1.5" or 1.75" and it was definitely noticeable. They stuck out of the wheel wells but I had 32.5x10.50s on it, so the tire was wide anyways. I plan to put a 1'' spacer on my X once I get my wheels back from getting powder coated.
