So here was my goal: find or paint BLACK wheels for my 03 PreRunner while keeping a "basic stock" look. Other than corrosion on the inside, there was nothing wrong with the alloys I took off, but I wasn't digging the silver on "silver" look. A bit of contrast without going full murdered-out was good for me. So, powdercoated the factory steelies black, then slapped them on my truck. Now, here is where I will torment myself: black or chrome center caps??? I dig the splash of chrome on the gloss black and will probably go that route.
