I wasn’t sure if the Discount Tire by me did them or not. I called today to ask and they said they did a road force balance. They never called me back so i’ll be calling back tomorrow to see what’s up.

Most times you have to ask for road force balance, it’s more money plus more work for the mechanic.

Most shops that provide a road force balance still don't do it correctly.

Discount tire does road force balancing, but as long as the balancer shows the tires are within spec they won't rotate the tire on the wheel to get the lowest amount of road force/balance weight. (Which is the whole benefit of this type of balancing over regular)

I went through this with my wildpeaks and DT. The balancer kept saying 2 of my tires were in spec but they required a ton of wheel weights, couldn't get the shop to rotate the tires on the wheel and retry the balance for a lower road force. They just kept rebalancing over and over and moving/reapplying weight. Tried both DT in my area with the same result.

I ended up having DT order 2 new wildpeaks for the tires requiring the excess wheel weights and live with the minor harmonic tire shimmy.

I forgot mine won’t help you. I had the new tundra and for whatever reason Toyota changed the hub bore on them to 95.1…. Instead of 106.1. Your 108 to 106.1 rings will be very small as it’s not much difference. (Way bigger in the new tundra hub bore). But they do make 108 to 106.1. Let me find you some.

Yeah, I’ve ran them on a bunch of stuff but 108 to 106 is so small that I’m guessing the rings will be fragile. It may not help u may have something else going on but my tundra 108 to 95 That’s a good piece of material.

you’ll see a lot of rings 108 to 106 but I’ve tried a few of the 106‘s and they do not fit you’ve got to find 106.1 and here’s only ones I found.

Here’s what they look like some are made of plastic and some are made of metal. Custom offsets almost always sends me the appropriate rings when I order from them.
